CBMW New Mixer Warranty
Continental Mfg. Company, Ltd. warrants its new CBMW mixers against defects in workmanship or materials as follows:
Gearbox (two years); Drum (one year, prorated); Hydraulic Pump and Motor (as provided by the manufacturer); Electric and Electronic Components (90 days); Chutes and Hoppers (90 days); Rollers (30 days); Balance of Mixer (1 year).
The warranty covers replacement of the failed part with a reconditioned or new part, at the discretion of Continental, plus freight to the customer, or the repair of such part to the manufacturer’s quality standards.
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, negligently caused failures, other freight charges, labor costs, painting, incidental or consequential costs or damages, or lost profits.
The warranty period begins with delivery of the unit to the customer and runs for consecutive days thereafter.
In order for this warranty to apply, the customer must operate the machine in a careful and prudent manner, maintain the machine according to manufacturers’ guidelines, use only manufacturer recommended replacement parts, lubricate all bearings regularly and fully, change oils as recommended by the manufacturer, use manufacturer recommended oils and lubricants, check and tighten all bolts regularly, and not alter the machine. Roller bearings and chute pivot bearings must be lubricated with clean grease at least once a week. Gearbox oil should be changed after the first 100 hours or first two weeks of operation and each six months or 1,000 hours of operation thereafter (whichever comes first). Flushing oil should be used before new gearbox oil is placed in the unit.
There are no other warranties or product quality representations made by Continental other than as stated herein. All other warranties, express or implied, including, without limitation, the warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are hereby disclaimed.
